I have a B.A. Sociology from Concordia University, I'm a member of Ebony Toastmasters and also a member of Big Brothers - Big Sisters. I am presently working on my own sports blog: AlixtheGambit.com. I'm a member of the Lion's Circle, a group for men of African descent. I'm a member of GPHT - a Haitian professional group. I play competitive softball (Slo-Pitch)
My parents are of Haitian origin. I speak English and French fluently. I'm Catholic.
At 6 years old I moved from New York to Montreal and had to learn French quickly to make friends. During my high school years 3 out of my 5 years, I was the only black person in the school. I completed my high school, college and university in Montreal.
I played and coached many sports competitively. I been living in Toronto for 15 years and worked mostly as a bilingual customer service representative.
