I was born in Rwanda shortly before the genocide. My family immigrated to Montreal where we lived for 6 years and then to Ottawa. I am now a third year student in Political Science and Communication at the University of Ottawa. I am also privileged to be a youth mentor for an organization called YouthFutures. In my spare time, I volunteer with different organizations in the city and the province such as the Young Liberals of Ontario and the Political, International, Development Studies Student Association at the University of Ottawa.
