I am the process of co-founding House of the World Co-operative this Social Enterprise's goal is to train and employ immigrants women and women in need. I have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources. Currently I am at the University of Victoria doing a diploma in Intercultural Education. I am an active member of the BC Black History awareness (BCBHA) I also write a blog that talks about different and diverse people of the community of Victoria describing what they do and what are their passions.

I came to Canada in 2002 sponsored by my partner. For the first time in my life I felt free, for the first time in my life I could vote, and for the first time in my life I become a mother. Being Canadian to me is being free, being accepting of others and always work towards a mutual understanding with other cultures.
