I was born in the USSR in 1988. My family and I immigrated to Israel in 1991, where I grew up and lived all over the country. We immigrated to Canada in 2001 in hopes of making a better life. Adjusting was very challenging. I consider my story an inspirational one. I was very lonely and isolated as a teenager in Canada. It wasn't until I found my niece, leadership and teaching, that my life turned around. I am now a proud educator and look forward to share my story and challenges with others.
