Bio

Born in Lagos, Nigeria to a Yoruba ruling family, ’Segun Olude graduated from Methodist Boys’ High School Lagos, in 1977. 'Segun joined one of Winnipeg’s foremost design firms in 1994, after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Graphic Design Major, from the University of Manitoba. ’Segun also holds a National Diploma in Fine Arts, from the School of Art, Printing and Industrial Design of well-known Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria. A self-described life-long learner, 'Segun completed all course work for his ISDP-MA at Syracuse University, and is currently enrolled in the MFA Graphic Design program at VCFA, Vermont.

Currently, ‘Segun Olude is principal of Indigo Ink Studios and teaches part-time as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Manitoba’s School of Art. His professional portfolio include various editorial and magazine design, corporate identities, event branding, web design, and commemorative postage stamps for Canada Post. His current work includes the event branding for TEDxManitoba for June 2013.

‘Segun is involved in various professional and community organisations in Canada, and participates in an annual non-profit faith-based rural community development mission with his wife. He also speaks to high school students on integration and multiculturalism, through Historica Dominion Institute of Canada.

'Segun is married and is a proud father of three wonderful adult kids
